xPERT eCommunity 4.3.1 Brings the Power of Online Collaboration to Mac Users

Falls Church, VA, (September 2006) - Q2Learning, the leading provider of enterprise software for collaborative learning and knowledge sharing, announced today the release of xPERT eCommunity v. 4.3.1, including full cross-browser compatibility with Firefox v. 1.5 and Mac OS X.

While previous versions of the software enabled participant features for use in different browsers, 4.3.1 provides full compatibility with all functions related to managing and administering eCommunity-based communities of practice.

"We're very pleased to offer the same features to Mac users, via cross-browser compatibility, that PC users have enjoyed," says Valerie Bock, Q2Learning's technical services lead and Mac aficionado. "The addition of Firefox browser compatibility allows participants to access their communities any time, from anywhere, regardless of their operating system."

With the release of 4.3.1, Mac users can not only participate in conversations, but they can facilitate discussions, configure communities and manage users, without having to give up their familiar Mac interface.

"This was a natural extension for the platform," says Bill Bruck, lead solutions architect and founding partner of Q2Learning. "We've always been about helping organizations leverage the resources available to them, so it makes sense that we include different technologies in that equation."
