Booz-Allen Hamilton to Feature Q2Learning's xPERT eCampus

Developing proficiencies take time and requires applying those skills on the job. Standard classroom or Web based instruction can only build awareness and a certain degree of skillfulness. Virtually any complex skill requires a time period of practice, reinforcement and most importantly, coaching.

Falls Church, VA, (March 2008) – Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH), one of the world's leading technology consulting firms will showcase Q2Learning's blended learning platform at its March T Technology Focus Group (TFG) event. Dr. Bill Bruck, general manager lead solutions architect will present on behalf of Q2Learning.

Dr. Bruck will describe the continuum between formal and informal learning, share the five key learning practices that are necessary to support proficiency-based learning, and describe ways in which the eCampus platform can support coaching and mentoring.

"Training for proficiency requires new ways of designing and delivering training. In fact, the very word, ‘training' is a misnomer, because proficiency requires sustained learning and practice that is supported over time," says Dr. Bruck. "What's really needed is a method to create on-going, replicable programs that support the employee through all phases of learning...from introduction to on-the-job performance. We're really gratified that BAH sees that potential in the xPERT eCampus."
